The 2023 CuMo Mine Exploration Project has the goal of constructing one of the world’s largest open-pit molybdenum mines in the headwaters of the Boise River.
The current drilling exploration proposal aims to construct up to 8.9 miles of new temporary roads, up to 122 new exploration drill sites, and drill up to 250 exploration holes – posing threats to our water quality, recreation, traffic, public safety, and wildlife.
Join the Idaho Conservation League, Idaho Rivers United, Advocates for the West, and the Golden Eagle Audubon Society to learn more about the threat of CuMo mine, and how to make your comments more effective.
